Well since heroes are being implemented in all the chapters then it's not specifically a Nightfall option. But yes Nightfall is looking to be amazing.

well you wouldnt have access to any heros at all unless you have the nightfall chapter, so it IS a nightfall specific option.

Hmm you're right. Personally I think it should be allowed access in all the chapters and not just a Nightfall specific thing...even though I'll have access to Nightfall anyway.

Why? every new chapter needs a special "gimmick"
Heroes are one of Nightfalls biggest selling points...take away the "exclusivity" of heroes and Nightfall is starting to look a bit standard already..

Oh I understand gimmicks and selling points. But it still doesnt change my opinion that this should have been a GW thing. Not just a Nightfall specific option. But I'm not going to complain since I'm getting Nightfall anyway and backwards compatible. It just seems odd that such an important feature is chapter specific.

Gaile's Community Relations Manager, so when ever she speaks, her chat is a stand-out color for obvious reasons.
Anyways, great to hear this news, I was really hoping we would be able to take them to the other continents.
Thanks to the OP for posting this, Gaile for confirming it, and Anet for making it .

This is exciting news, henching missions will be much easier. And the missions you've gotten bored with can be played differently. Possibly making them enjoyable again.
If eight Nightfall characters took their heroes into a Tyrian mission, for example, Aurora Glade. Everyone sends their hero to protect the middle attunement pedistal, while they run around to kill the demogogue ...naaa that would make it too boring.
I'm sure there are some missions that having eight players and eight heroes would be fun; not too easy--maybe in sorrows forge or the underworld. Also, farming or chest running would be alot faster.
The possibilities for variety and new ways to play are endless.

Oh wow... this is amazing... it is like both dream and nightmare comes true at once!! (I hate offline game, but this is online while behaving like offline with no monthly fee!)
An Offline-Mass-Multiplayer-Role-Playing-Online-Game, aka OMMORPG, had just been invented.

Just to clarify... Any one player can only take a total of 3 henchman at one time. SO if u can have a party size of 8 then u can take 3 hero's and someone else can take 3 hero's for a total of 6 hero's and 2 players. They dont act like pets they actually take up a slot in the party window.
EDIT: Also if there is a new chat log could some one post it in it's entirity*SPELLING FTW**

The Tyrian mission bonuses will be even easier to solo when you can tell the heroes where to stand >_<

They had to do this. Otherwise, people trying to do stuff in Proph. and Factions after Nightfall release would need bots spamming "LFG" for them. Kudos Anet.
